About Us / Civil Association
We are an official civil association whose mission is the preservation, protection, documentation, digitalization, and promotion of ice hockey history in Banská Bystrica, through game-worn hockey jerseys loaned by a private collector.
A Story Written on Ice
Hockey under the Urpín mountain has a rich tradition that has shaped generations of fans and players. We believe this history should not gather dust in closed boxes. Every single authentic, battle-tested jersey in our exhibition tells a unique story of sweat, emotion, and victories that formed the identity of Banská Bystrica hockey.
What We Do
-
Protecting Heritage: Thanks to a unique partnership with a private collector, we preserve rare and often one-of-a-kind jerseys in one place.
-
Digitalizing History: We transform physical artifacts into a digital format, making hockey history accessible anytime and to anyone around the world.
-
Connecting the Community: We act as a bridge between the past and the present. We connect hockey veterans, active fans, and the younger generation to show them the power of hockey traditions.
